fire warden/marshal training

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 that came into force on the 1st October 2006 states that you ‘must ensure that your employees are provided with adequate safety training’.

Why you must train Fire Wardens:

The responsible person must appoint one or more competent persons to assist in the management of the Fire Policy and Fire Safety Strategy. A Fire Safety Manager would be the person given the role of the day to day management of the fire safety within the company or organisation.

Fire Wardens or Fire Marshals (competent persons), sufficient in number, must be trained and it must be ensured sufficient in number are also trained to cover for leave, holidays, sickness & courses.

Fire Protection Services Ltd provides Half Day Fire Training Courses in all areas of the UK on site at your premises.

All our courses are designed to meet the requirements of The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. It is our policy to involve employees in hands on use & learn experience. We have found that if employees are involved in using fire extinguishers, their retention of knowledge is far greater than just sitting through a video and a fire lecture. The more information that is retained by your employee the greater protection your business has.
